หลังจากนั่งอยู่บนเครื่องกว่า 12 ชั่วโมง หลังรับประทานอาหารเช้า (เช้ามากครับ ประมาณตีสี่ของที่เยอรมัน แต่เป็นสิบโมงเช้าของบ้านเราไปแล้ว) ผมก็มาถึง Frankfurt สนามบินที่เรียกได้ว่าใหญ่ที่สุดในเยอรมันนี ด้วยความตื่นเต้น หลังจากทำความรู้จักกับพี่ที่นั่งมาด้วยกันตลอดทางแต่ยังไม่รู้จักชื่อเสียงเรียงนาม ก็มาทราบว่าพี่เขาชื่อ "จิบ" เป็นหัวหน้างานเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศของ สกว. (สำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการวิจัย) หรือ IT Manager นั่นแหละ ชื่อเต็มๆชื่ิอ พิศุทธ์ เกิดปัญญา หญิงสาวที่นั่งข้างซ้ายมือถัดไปเป็นลูกน้องพี่จิบ เธอชื่อ "เปิ้ล" และถัดไปอีกคน เธอชื่อ "กิ๋ง" เป็นลูกสาวเจ้าของบริษัท Get on Technology เราทั้งสี่คนภายหลังสนิทกันมากขึ้น เนื่องจากเวลาไปไหนมาไหนด้วยรถCoach เธอสองคนจะอยู่ด้วยกันและนั่งข้างหน้าผม ส่วนผมกับพี่จิบก็เป็น roommate กัน ผมเดินออกมาจากเครื่องเพื่อสัมผัสความหนาวเย็นระดับเลของศาเดียว เดินต่อออกมาเพื่อรอคนอื่นๆที่ทยอยเดินออกมาแล้วก็พบว่า ตายละหว่า...ผมลืมมือถือไว้บนเครื่อง แหม...เริ่มต้นด้วยความตื่นเต้นจากการแสดงความเปิ่นนี่มันไม่เท่ห์เท่าไหร่เลยให้ตายสิครับ !!!

หลังจากมุ่งตรงไปที่เมือง Walldorf ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของ SAP Headquarter ผมแอบเสียใจเล็กน้อยที่เราใช้เวลาอยู่ที่นั่นเพียง 1 ชั่วโมงที่ Visitor Center ของเขา ที่จริงมันก็โอเคอยู่หรอกครับ แนวคิดในการสร้าง Visitor Center ถูกออกแบบมาให้ผนวกกับ Guiding System (อ่านล้อมกรอบ)
แต่ผมไม่ได้อยากดูอะไรแบบนี้...ผมอยากรู้ว่าทำไมบริษัทนี้จึงสร้างรายได้ทะลุ 10 ล้านยูโรในปีที่ผ่านมา อยากรู้ว่าทำอย่างไรเขาจึงมีพนักงาน 43,000 คน เขาบริหารงานอย่างไร เฮ้อ...เอาเถอะครับ ไหนๆก็ได้มาเยือน SAP แล้ว อย่างน้อยก็มีของเล่นให้น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ เริ่มต้นจากหน้าประตูทางเข้าห่างออกไปประมาณ 100 เมตร จะมีเสาสูงประมาณ 30 เมตร คล้ายเสาธงแต่ไม่มีธงหรอกนะครับ ด้านล่างมีแผ่นโลหะให้เอามือไปทาบเพื่ออ่านอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจและเสดงผลออกมาเป็นตัวเลขและคลื่นหัวใจพร้อมกับระบบน้ำนำทางเดินที่ฝังอยู่ที่พื้นกระเพื่อมเป็นจังหวะเดียวกับอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ เจ้าน้ำนำทางนี้แหละครับจะนำเราเดินเขาไปสู่ Visitor Center ภายในตัวอาคารออกแบบให้เป็น theme เดียวกันจากสายน้ำนำทางเข้ามาเปลี่ยนเป็นข้อมูลดิจิตอลด้วยจอLCD สีฟ้าที่ฝังอยู่ใต้พื้นเป็นทางยาวพาดผ่าน Cycle of Innovation กงล้อที่ไม่มีวันหยุดหมุนแสดงถึงการไม่หยุดนึ่งของชาว SAP ที่ต้องการจะสร้างสรรนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆอยู่ตลอดเวลา เจ้าจอสีฟ้าที่เป็นตัวแทนของสายธารแห่งข้อมูลยังนำมาเราขึ้นไปถึงชั้นสูงสุดของอาคาร ที่น่าสนใจมากกว่านั้นคือ นอกจากในน้ำจะมีตัวเลข 0 และ 1 แสดงความเป็นดิจิตอลแล้วยังมีสัตว์อยู่อีกหลายชนิดซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของ Process Flow และ Acitivities ต่างๆที่ได้เช่น ปลากระเบนหมายถึงส่วนงาน Customer Relationship ดูแลเรื่องความสัมพันธ์ของูกค้ากับบริษัท SAP หรือ นกหมายถึงส่วนงาน User Help Desk ดูแลเรื่องการแก้ไขปัญหาให้กับ End-User เป็นต้น ที่น่าจะเรียกความสนใจให้กับหมู่คณะเรามากที่สุดเห็นจะเป็นก็อกน้ำเปลี่ยนสีในห้องน้ำครับ ถือว่าออกแบบได้ดีที่เดียว ด้วยการที่มันเป็นระบบสัมผัส ด้านซ้ายให้เลือกระดับความร้อนเย็นสายน้ำที่ออกมาก็จะเปลี่ยนสีตามที่เราเลือก ด้านขวามือเป็นปุ่มเปิด-ปิด ทำให้ใครหลายคนเข้าห้องน้ำนานกว่าปกติเพื่อถ่ายรูปได้เจ้าก็ก็อกน้ำนี่แหละครับ

เราออกเดินทางต่อไปยังเมืองMeckenheim ซึ่่งเป็นสำนักงานใหญ่ของบริษัท BWI อย่างที่เกริ่นให้ฟังไปแล้วก่อนหน้าว่าเป็นบริษัทร่วมทุนกันระหว่างภาครัฐ (Federal Republic) และบริษัท SIEMENS เพื่อบริหารจัดการงานไอทีของกองทัพเยอรมัน (Bunderwehr) โดยมูลค่าโครงการ 7.1 พันล้านยูโร หรือคิดเป็นเงินไทยก็น่าจะตกอยู่ราว 350,000 ล้านบาทใน10 ปี (อืมม ปีละ 35,000 ล้าน ก็ตกวันละเกือบ 100 ล้าน) ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นการร่วมทุนของภาครัฐและเอกชนที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในยุโรป (PPP;Public-Private Partnership) โดยบริษัทนี้ถือหุ้นโดย Federal Republic 49.9% และ Contractor 50.1 %ซึ่งก็คือ SIEMENS 50.05% และIBM 0.05% สงสัยไหมครับว่าทำไมมันจะต้องมีIBM มาถืออยู่ติ่งหนึ่งด้วย ก็เนื่องจากเขาต้องการมีเอกชนผู้รับผิดชอบโครงการเต็มๆ ถ้าผิดสัญญาจะได้ฟ้องร้องได้อย่างชัดเจนไงครับ

Service ที่จะทำให้กับกองทัพนี่ก็เริ่มต้นจากการเดินสายโทรศัพท์ 300,000 เบอร์ SAP Account อีก 40,000 users PC 140,000 เครื่อง เพื่อใช้งานกับ User ประมาณ 375,000 คนซึ่งกระจายอยู่ในสำนักงาน 1,500แห่่งทั่วประเทศเยอรมันนี หลายคนอาจสงสัยนะครับว่ากองทัพที่ว่าเนี่ยประกอบไปด้วยหน่วยงานอะไรบ้าง ก็เริ่มตั้งแต่ Army (ทหารบก) Air Force (ทหารอากาศ) Navy (ทหารเรือ) Central Medical Service ( แพทย์ทหาร) และฝ่ายสนับสนุนและบริหารงานทั่วไปอื่นๆ เรียกได้ว่าทั้งกองทัพจริงๆ ถามว่าประเทศเราจะทำอะไรแบบได้หรือไม่ ผมว่าต้องใช้เวลาครับ กว่าเยอรมันเขาจะทำออกมาเป็นรูปเป็นร่างแบบนี้ เขาคิดกันมาตั้งแต่ปลายปี 1999 และเปิดประมูลในปี 2001 หลังจากนั้นก็ยุติการเจรจาไปกับอีกกลุ่มบริษัทหนึ่งเมื่อกลางปี 2004 และ แนวคิด Consortium หรือ PPP นี้ก็มาปัดฝุ่นใหม่ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2005 ด้วยสัญญาหนา 17,000 หน้าจึงสามารถจัดตั้ง BWI ได้อย่างเป็นทางการในเดือนธันวาคม 2006 ก็เรียกว่าก้าวไปอย่างรวดเร็วมากครับ ตึกสำนักงานใหญ่เป็นรูปตัว H แสดงว่าเป็น HERKELES จริงๆ สร้างเสร็จภายใน 9 เดือนซึ่งถือว่าเร็วมากนะครับ ภายในกลางปีนี้ก็จะถึงกำหนดส่งมอบงานงวดแรกๆแล้ว เอาไว้ผมได้ความคืบหน้าแล้วจะนำมาเล่าสู่กันฟังต่อครับ

ยังไม่หมดสำหรับวันนี้นะครับถ้าเทียบไปแล้วกว่าจะออกจาก BWI นี่ก็ 4โมงเย็น ประมาณ 4 ทุ่มบ้านเรา แต่ผมเริ่มต้นการเดินทางวันนี้ตั้งแต่ 6โมงเช้า (ซึ่งในเครื่องบินหลับแทบไม่ได้เลย) เราขับต่อไปยังเมื่อ Koln อ่านว่า Colonge นะครับ ใช่แล้วมันเป็นที่มาของ Colonge ยี่ห้อ 4711 อันโด่งดัง อันที่จริงผมก็ไม่รู้จักหรอกนะครับได้ Colonge 4711 เนี่ยแต่ทุกคนที่มากับผมเขาทำท่ารู้จักกันหมด ( อ้าว...ไหงว่าคนอื่นแก่ซะงั้นล่ะ !! ) ผมก็ได้แต่พยักเพยิดเหมือนว่าจะรู้จักไปกะเขาด้วย คือจริงๆแล้วเราน่าจะเลยได้ยินคำว่า Colonge กันอยู่แล้วล่ะครับเพียงแต่อาจไม่รู้ที่มาว่า ไอ้เจ้า Colonge 4711 เนี่ยเป็นชื่อเต็มและเป็นต้นฉบับ หัวหน้าคณะทัวร์ของเราชื่อ คุณนิด จาก Unique travel เล่าให้ฟังว่า สมัยที่สร้างเมือง Colonge ใหม่ใหม่ เจ้าเมืองก็ให้เจ้าหน้าที่เดินแจกเลขที่บ้านตั้งแต่บ้านที่ 1 2 3 ไปเรื่อยๆจนไปถึง บ้านที่ 4711 ซึ่งเขาทำ Colonge ขาย จึงได้ชื่อบ้านพร้อมกับชื่อBrand ไปในตัวเลยว่า Colonge 4711 ผมแวะ Colonge อยู่ประมาณ 45 นาทีเข้าไปในโบสถ์เดินดูร้าน Shopping เล็กๆน้อยๆ และออกเดินทางอีกครั้งเพื่อมุ่งสู่ที่พักซึ่งอยู่ในเมือง Bad Nenndoft ห่างจาก Hanover สถานที่จัดงาน Cebit ปนะมาณ 30-40 นาที กว่าจะถึงที่พัก (ซึ่งเรายังไม่ได้รับประทานอาหรเย็นกันเลย) ก็ปาเข้าไปสี่ทุ่มว่าเกือบห้าทุ่ม รับประทานอาหารเย็นเสร็จ อาบน้ำเตรียมเข้านอนก็เที่ยงคืน ซึ่งก็เท่ากับ หกโมงเช้าบ้านเรา...วันนี้เหนื่อยใช้ได้ทีเดียวครับ แต่ก็คุ้มและผมยังแอบคิดว่าน่าจะยังไม่ใช่วันที่เหนื่อยที่สุด เอาล่ะครับ Introduction มาสองบทแล้ว บทต่อไปผมจะพาไปตะลุย Cebit 2008 กันนะครับ
